“State of mind” is defined as the quality of one's consciousness as it relates to the outside world, as well as the perception of inner thoughts and emotions. It includes your mood and your mental state at a certain point in time. This piece is a reminder to work on a positive state of mind daily.

The blue tones add calmness, shades of blue each adding their own level of depth from the subtle powder blue/duck egg blue background to the hydrangeas. In colour theory the colour blue represents both the sky and the sea and is associated with open spaces, freedom, intuition, imagination, inspiration, and sensitivity. Blue also represents meanings of depth, trust, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom, confidence, stability, faith, and intelligence.
